Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”. It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Leopards and other cats live here in plenty. In addition nature lovers can explore four different habitats. They are the dry bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. Similarly, visitors can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.
You will be picked up at your hotel and transfer to Wilson airport, where you board scheduled flight to Amboseli Park. After a 45 minutes flight arrive at Amboseli airstrip where the driver guide will be waiting for you for a transfer to the Amboseli a tented lodge. Afternoon game drive is done in this Park

Amboseli National Park offers you the best opportunity of seeing the critically endangered black rhino, along with a spectacular range of wildlife. The area’s low and well-munched vegetation also ensures that animals are easy to spot. Lions can easily be found and can occasionally be watched stalking their prey. Buffalo, cheetah, gazelle, hyena, jackal, wildebeest, zebra, and baboon are just some of the animals that can be encountered at Amboseli.
