The Samburu National Reserve is a game reserve on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The park is 165 km² in size and is 350 kilometers from Nairobi.

Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya more so Africa. The reserve is located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Moreover, the wildlife tends to be most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment.

Several species are considered unique to the region, including its unique dry-country animal life. They are namely, three big cats, lion, cheetah and leopard, which are found here and elephants. Others include buffalos while Uaso Nyiro river contains large numbers of Nile crocodile. At the same time, mammals frequently seen in the park include Grant’s gazelle, impala, waterbuck , Grevy’s zebra, Baisy oryx and reticulated giraffe.</p>

<p>After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Guest House or similar. Afternoon game drive.</p><p>The Park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser). Moreover, the ecosystem provides a home for about 56 different species of mammals. These includes the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.</p>

<p>Visitors will spend full day exploring the park in search of the “Big 5”</p><p></p><p>Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the most popular reserves in the whole of Africa. During the wildebeest migration you could see thousands of animals. The plains are full of wildebeest, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe and Thomson’s gazelle. The other animals that the visitors can see include leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah and jackals. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance.</p>
